Veridan Credit Union is paying savers in Iowa a number of rates on its certificates of deposit.

CDs in the term between 49 and 60 months will earn 2.30% APY. 2.05% APY and 2.00% will be paid on 42 to 48 month and 39 month certificates of deposit respectively. On 25, 15 and 9 month CDs, you can get 1.70%, 1.30% and 1.10% APY respectively. All the rates can be availed on a minimum deposit of $1,000.
