Yesterday I covered a story about Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone owners flocking to T-Mobile totaling 1.9 million iPhones on their network. This morning Reuters reports that T-Mobile USA will start selling Apple devices within the next 4 months.
“They’re all, I would call them, in three to four months as opposed to six to nine months, John Legere told Reuters in an interview at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
This means all four major cellular carries Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and now T-Mobile will be offering Apple (AAPL) devices. What does this mean for Apple? It shows demand for their products and despite recent skepticism it shows Apple Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL) is still growing.
T-Mobile is also phasing out subsidized device pricing this year opting to offer installment plans which would lower the monthly service cost. In other T-Mobile news they are still actively pursuing MetroPCS and a rumored deal with Dish Network.
…And they said the demand for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) devices was decreasing.
