SunTrust is offering special CD rates to customers with a checking account.
Called ‘Two CDs Are Better than One’, the bank’s CD package allows customers to purchase two CDs simultaneously. A rate of 2.40% APY is being offered on both its 39 and 63 month CDs. For this, the bank requires a minimum deposit of $2,000, which will be divided equally between the certificates of deposit.
