Southwest Airlines Federal Credit Union’s deal on 36 month CDs is better than that offered for the same term nation-wide.

You can earn 2.10% APY on CDs for this term. The minimum deposit amount required is $1,000. With the same deposit amount, you can get 1.65% APY on 30 and 24 month CDs.

To qualify for the certificates of deposit, you should be a member of the credit union. Southwest Airlines’ employees can become members, as can those in one of the 150 groups associated with it.
