Members of Consumers Credit Union in west Michigan can avail its special, step-up rates on CDs for 17 months.

The credit union is offering 1.50% APY on a minimum deposit of $1,000. To become a member of Consumers Credit Union, you will have to deposit $25 in a savings account. Also, you will have to either worship, reside, work or be enrolled in a post-high school course in one of these counties – Van Buren, St. Joseph, Ottawa, Kent, Kalamazoo, Cass, Calhoun, Berrien, Barry or Allegan.
