Google has been making some significant advancement in expanding its businesses and its research and development department. The multibillionaire information technology giant has now opened its play store market for the Chinese application designers.
The key focus of the company is on differentiation strategies. It provides unique and variety oriented services and products and targets almost every market. Apart from being World’s largest cell phone apps provider and its internet related services the company also provides software, tablets and phablet devices. Its latest software is its worldwide accepted Android Lollipop 5.0. These are just a few market advancements that the company has made in the past 3 years, which have captured profits worth billions of dollars. Now Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has decided to establish an even stronger foothold in the rapidly growing Chinese market.
Google had been providing apps services in over 130 countries except for China, which was quite unusual because all the big brands, including Apple, are now focusing on China for more profits and revenue. It’s big news for the Chinese apps developers. Google a few years back stopped its activities in China because of bans on its services and censorship problems, the users had to get apps from other stores like Baidu, Tencent and others. This new initiative by Google can also help in establishing more favorable relations between China and the billionaire giant Google Inc.
Google Inc. is going to face tough competition from the leading technology giant Apple Inc, which has been successfully operating in China for quite some time now and enjoys a huge market share through its iPhones and iPads. Apple Inc. so far has been doing quite well an oligopolistic environment in China; however with Google latest venture Apple will have its work cut out.
However Google still needs Government’s permission to launch its services. This will also allow the Chinese developers to make some serious cash by developing new apps for the internet giant. These developers will have access to 130 countries and its users where Google Apps are sold. Google will make the payment to these developers in US dollars and transactions can be done using Chinese accounts.
Before this Chinese developers had to use Android ad platforms to make money or they could develop and sell their apps to iOS and get paid through Apple Store. This move could result in better apps for Android because more and more developers will be gearing up to make money using Google.
In addition to opening its play store for the Chinese developers the company has also opened its play store for developers from 60 other countries, which can sell and distribute their apps to the play store. These countries include Pakistan, Jordan, Oman, Venezuela, Qatar, Puerto Rico and many others. Google Inc.’s (NASDAQ:GOOGL) market place is a hub of hundreds of thousands of mobile apps and the digital market place can be used in a very productive manner by the both entities, the Google Inc and the app developers, with the sole objective of earning profits.
