According to an announcement made in Beijing, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad Air and iPad mini 3 with cellular networks will be made available in China this week. Many fast networks like TD-LTE and FDD-LTE amongst other will be available in the iPad models, which will enable the users to stay connected to high quality cellular data networks not only in China but worldwide.
iPad Air 2 features
iPad Air 2 is a 6.1 mm thin tablet, which makes it the thinnest iPad ever and it is very light weight, weighing even less than a pound. iPad Air 2 has many new changes which include a better Retina display with an anti-reflective coating that reduces the glare of the screen by 56%; this makes the viewing much better and enhanced. The new iPad also boasts of new and improved iSight and FaceTime cameras. iPad Air 2 comprises of 64-bit A8X chip that enhances the performance of the CPU as well as the graphics performance, these features can be appreciated while working on the device or playing games.

Cost and availability of both the devices
Apart from China, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 are available in more than 110 countries. iPad Air 2’s 16 GB model with WLAN is available in China for the proposed retail price of 3,588 (RMB), 64 GB model retails for 4,288 (RMB) and the 128 GB model retails for 4,988.
iPad Air 2 with WLAN with cellular models, which endorses TD-LTE and FDD-LTE, are available for the proposed retail price of 4,488 (RMB) for 16 GB model, 5,188 for 64 GB and 5,888 for 128 GB models.
iPad mini 3 with WLAN models prices are 2,888 (RMB), 3,588 (RMB) and 4,288 (RMB) for 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB models respectively. iPad mini 3 with WLAN and cellular models, which endorses TD-LTE and FDD-LTE, are available at the proposed price of 3,788 (RMB), 4,488 (RMB) AND 5,188 (RMB) for 16 GM, 64 GB and 128 GB models.
iPad Air, iPad mini 2 and iPad mini are also available in China for better prices, which are more affordable. Buyers in China can get their devices through Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) online and retail stores and also at some selected retailers that have been authorized by Apple to sell their products.
